MINISTRY
HOPE means different things to different people. Webster defines HOPE as: (a) desire accompanied by expectation of or belief in fulfillment (b) someone or something on which hopes are centered.
Wikipedia states: Hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes with respect to events and circumstances in ones life or the world at large. As a verb, its definitions include: “expect with confidence” and “to cherish a desire with anticipation.
As important as the definition might be, we really need to establish the foundation of our HOPE.
PROSPERITY means different things to different people. The question I hope for us to answer is: What is TRUE PROSPERITY for you?
Joshua 1:8 This Book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (ESV)
Psalm 1:2,3 But his delight is in the Law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water yielding its fruit in season, whose leaf does not wither and who prospers in all he does. (ESV)
Developing the right MINDSET regarding HOPE & PROSPERITY is essential to have a foundation to build on both.
Webster defines MINDSET as: (a) a mental attitude or inclination (b) a fixed state of mind.
Our goal will be to establish a GROWTH MINDSET that will enable the development of GENUINE HOPE & TRUE PROSPERITY.
Changing the way we think about God, ourselves, others, circumstances and world events could pave the way for a life well lived and a legacy worth leaving. Are you ready to the pursue the life you’ve been missing?
